QUAKER HERITAGE

The subject of "Quaker Heritage" is the Brick Meeting House which stands on the edge of the village of Calvert in Cecil County, Maryland. William Penn laid out the Nottingham Lots in 1701 and set aside 40 acres in the center for a place of worship, a burial ground and for the privilege of education.
