| The quaint town of Chesapeake City, Maryland lies nestled on the banks of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal at the head of the Chesapeake Bay. The canal was completed in 1829 and has been enlarged several times. It is a part of the intercoastal waterway. | |||||||||||
